Uniform policy
We are
committed to a full uniform policy because our community believes in:
- Promoting a supportive environment at the school by fostering a sense of belonging.
- Fostering mutual respect among individuals by minimizing visible evidence of economic, class or social differences.
- Promoting an effective teaching and learning environment by eliminating distraction of competition in dress and fashion.
High quality uniforms are available at very reasonable
costs from the Uniform Shop. When buying new items such as shoes and socks,
please be aware that children are expected to have black closed in shoes and
white or grey socks. Shoes can either be leather or
sandshoe/‘jogger’ style but they must be black. If your child cannot
tie their own shoelaces, please consider Velcro closing shoes.
The
School Uniform Shop frequently has a supply of second-hand uniforms in good
condition for sale. We have cash, EFTPOS, credit card, and lay-by payment
options available.
Students
may participate in music or sports programs which require a specific
performance uniform. Supervisors of these programs will notify parents and
uniforms will be loaned to students for the duration of their extra-curricular
program with a bond.
